Third Sector Policy Seminar Series: Breaking down boundaries, creating opportunities

The Third Development Sector Unit recently hosted three successful policy seminars funded by Ignite and the University of Teesside’s Higher Education Innovation Fund.

Each seminar was well attended with representatives from the third sector invited to the first seminar, representatives of the public sector to the second, and all were invited to attend the last seminar. The focus of the seminars was on three key themes: representation, leadership and procurement. Participants were asked what needs to happen in the Tees Valley for the third sector to have a voice in governance at city level.
