Gavin Oxburgh, (with Trond Myklebust and Tim Grant,) is first author on an article The question of question types in police interviews: A review of the literature from a psychological and linguistic perspective which has been accepted by the International Journal of Speech Language and the Law.

Gavin has also had an article accepted to be included in a report on the positive impact technology can have for Britain in the digital age in The Future Laboratory www.thefuturelaboratory.com and Virgin Media www.virginmedia.com

Peter van der Graaf has published the following – (with J.W. Duyvendak) - a co-authored book Thuisvoelen in de buurt:een opgave voor stedelijke verniewing (Feeling at Home in the Neighbourhood: A Challenge for Urban Renewal) Amsterdam University Press 2009 - and a journal article Thuisvoelen in stedelijke vernieuwing – Buurthechting in Nederlandse achterstandswijken (Feeling at Home in Urban Renewal Areas: Emotional Ties in Dutch Deprived Neighbourhoods Dutch Journal of Sociology Vol 5 Issue 2 June 2009. (And with L.Veldboer) The Effects of State-Led Gentrification in the Netherlands in J.W. Duyvendak City in Sight: Dutch Dealings with Urban Change Amsterdam University Press 2009.

Gary Henderson (with Chris Barnes and Matt Portas) has had a paper Factors associated with increased propensity for hamstring injury in English Premier League Soccer Players in The Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport.

Tracy Shildrick has been elected to the role of Co-ordinator of the European Sociological Association Youth and Generation Research Network, which brings together approximately 200 researchers from across Europe and will have responsibility for leadership and development in this field.

Judith Eberhardt has had two radio interviews related to her research, the first on her research on Attitudes to the Male Contraceptive Pill and the second on The Development of an online bereavement coping enhancement programme to improve women’s health. She also has an article on the BBC website re the male pill research, Article on the male pill research

Tom Gibbons has had a journal article accepted for publication, Contrasting Representations of Englishness during FIFA World Cup finals in the journal Sport in History 30.
