Eminent academic to visit Teesside

Will Hopkins, Professor of Research Design and Statistics at Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia, is looking forward to visiting the University's Health and Social Care Institute.

His visit, from March 16 to 20, is part-funded through the University’s International Visiting Academic scheme and is to be hosted by Professor Alan Batterham.

During his visit, Professor Hopkins will be working on a variety of ongoing research projects with academics and PhD students from the Health and Social Care and Social Futures research institutes.

Professor Hopkins is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and European College of Sport Science. He has published over 200 scientific articles with over 5000 citations.
