The official opening took place earlier this month and was attended by the chairman of the Pakistan Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA), Ali Salman Siddique and the manager of the International Education Services British Council Lahore, Jawed Khan.

The event included dignitaries from Higher Education Pakistan and local Teesside consultants, where it received significant media coverage in English and Urdu including newspapers Daily Jang and City News.

With offices already in India, China, Nigeria and Malaysia, Lahore is the fifth overseas office Teesside University has opened.
