Edu-cating: Disability Matters

Join the conversation to challenge perspectives and spark inclusion at this staff and student talk at 1.00pm in the Library exhibition space, led by Liam Twizell, of Hart Gables, the University's Disability Focus Group and Student Life.

Dyslexia Awareness Workshop

From 11.30am. The session aims to transform perceptions and challenge misconceptions of dyslexia in higher education, while providing an opportunity to recognise the skills and talents of neurodiverse individuals along with ‘quick win’ tools to take away.

Disability Advisers

Will be available between 10.00am and 1.00pm on the ground floor of the Library for a tea and talk session, to answer any questions you may have.

Discuss Disability

Schools can devote meetings to sharing and developing best practice in learning and teaching around students with disabilities and special educational needs. Departments can raise awareness of disability with their colleagues.

Hidden Disability Sunflower

The University is a member of the Hidden Disability Sunflower which will be displayed on screens across campus.
