Winter Vacation guide 2025-26: Events, activities and information

The Library remains open 24/7 throughout the Winter vacation on a self-service basis. The Winter Vacation guide contains a range of events, activities and information for the vacation period, with planned activities for 22 and 23 December, including free hot drinks.

While the holiday season can represent joy and togetherness, we understand that it can also be associated with family or financial pressure, loneliness, or anxiety for some individuals. If you are concerned about the holidays, you can access a range of social and wellbeing activities being hosted by the Student and Library Services and the Student Union up to and including the university winter vacation.
