MA History scholarship

£14,777 scholarship

We are offering a £14,777 scholarship to a strong candidate for a full-time MA History within Teesside University's School of Social Science, Humanities & Law. This one-year scholarship is funded by the University.

Our MA History offers a cultural history pathway that provides a grounding in historical research and develops key skills within heritage, public history and archiving the moving image. It is intended to prepare you for PhD-level study in cultural history and heritage.

Entry requirements

You should have or expect to gain a good honours degree (2.1 or above). You must submit a copy of a substantial piece of coursework along with your application form. You also need to include a 500-word personal statement outlining your ambition to progress to higher study within cultural history and heritage.

We accept applications from overseas students but the funding only covers the equivalent of a home student's fee. You are eligible to pay any difference.

You must first submit your application to the programme through the MA History course page. To apply for the MA History scholarship, email r.higgins@tees.ac.uk attaching a copy of your coursework and 500-word personal statement. Please include MA History scholarship in the subject line.
