Why a DBA?

I wanted to challenge myself and deepen my understanding of leadership and strategic thinking, while opening doors to new career opportunities. I wanted something that had academic rigour and practical relevance; this course offered just that.

Favourite thing about the course?

I appreciated the opportunity to shape my own research journey. The Advanced Independent Study module was a highlight as I had the freedom to explore leadership and marketing in depth. It helped me refine my research skills but also led to a significant milestone as I was invited to contribute a chapter to a published book on leadership and disruption – a very proud moment for me.

What are your ambitions for the future?

I aim to continue contributing to education through teaching and research. I’m passionate about leadership development and hope to publish more work in this area, and support others in their academic journey.
