Eligibility and submission guidelines

The event is open to all doctoral students across the UK, with students within NARTI receiving first preference.

We welcome submissions from across business and management disciplines. You should submit a 1000-word extended abstract or overview of your paper. Extended abstracts should be representative of the intended final submission. If they are empirical, they should include some expected, preliminary or indicative findings.

All extended abstracts are peer reviewed and feedback provided. Upon acceptance, extended abstracts should be turned into a full paper presentation.

Abstracts should include:

  • paper title
  • research area from the following:
    • accounting and finance, economics
    • entrepreneurship, international business and strategy
    • human resource management, organisational behaviour and organisation studies
    • marketing, operations and supply chain
    • other (please specify)
  • purpose of the paper
  • theoretical background
  • methodology
  • main findings
  • potential contribution
  • 3 - 5 key words.

Please submit your extended abstract as outlined above, with a letter of support from your supervisor, and download and complete the application form.

Submissions close at 5.00pm, 17 March 2023. You will receive notification of paper acceptance at 5.00pm, 28 April 2023.
