Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Professional Apprenticeship, Cert HE

Sustainability is now essential for futureproofing any organisation. As climate change, ethical responsibility and corporate accountability increasingly shape the way businesses operate, companies must adapt to remain resilient and competitive.

 

Deep Dive into Sustainability Topics, University Certificate in Professional Development

These 12-week modules allow businesses to study one of five in-depth sustainability topics. Each module is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and tools to address real-world sustainability challenges, providing valuable insights that can drive positive change in their organisation.

 

Sustainability Business Specialist Apprenticeship (integrated MSc Sustainability Leadership), MSc

This apprenticeship empowers the next generation of leaders to embed sustainable practices across business operations. With a digital-first approach, the programme combines practical experience with expertise in environmental stewardship, social responsibility and economic sustainability. Apprentices learn how to tackle challenge like climate change and resource efficiency while driving impactful ESG strategies, stakeholder engagement and regulatory compliance.

 

Sustainability Discovery Day, Non-accredited CPD

This half-day masterclass helps leaders integrate sustainability into strategy by understanding regulatory trends, exploring environmental, social, and governance (ESG) value creation, and crafting actionable next steps for embedding sustainability across organisational processes.

 

The Sustainable Leader, Non-accredited CPD

This two-day programme equips executives with the ability to navigate regulatory landscapes and drive environmental social governance (ESG)-focussed change. Guided by experts, participants develop actionable plans, explore human resources' role in fostering change, and learn to measure performance using proven frameworks.

This programme is delivered by Teesside University International Business School and the Net Zero Industry Innovation Centre in partnership with Grant Thornton. This partnership combines Teesside's track-record for academic excellence with Grant Thornton's practical expertise and industry networks, providing apprentices with an innovative and future-facing learning experience.

The Net Zero Industry Innovation Centre is an innovative new £13.1m facility that focuses on research and knowledge exchange to address global environmental, social and governance (ESG) challenges, positioning Teesside at the forefront of the UK's green industrial revolution.
