Bringing together the NHS, academia and industry, the partnership is working to establish the region as a driving force behind major advances in healthcare innovation.

  • Durham Tees Valley Research Alliance

We have been astounded by the facilities within the NHC and the expertise offered through their staff. They have shown considerable ambition and commitment to develop this exciting project in such a short timescale. This partnership will allow the DTVRA to support our clinical staff to explore new ideas using the NHC’s skills, expertise and facilities, and develop these ideas into successful grants and subsequent research projects

Jane Greenaway, Associate Director, DTVRA

We have got an extremely strong relationship with many of the UK’s major biomedical organisations and so by working alongside our partners in the NHS, collaborating to develop solutions to their problems, we can deliver a seamless transition between discovery, manufacturer and the end-user.
