25 employers and training providers from across London exhibited at the event with the aim of providing our students with part-time work and internships.

The event was hosted in Plexal, the innovation co-working and events organisation located on the floor below Teesside University London.

Among the employers were representatives from local councils, London and Emirates stadium, Unitemps, Employment 4 Students, the digital creative sectors, hospitality and events, teacher training and more.

Securing part-time work placements during their time at university allows students to gain the valuable interpersonal skills and experience required to enable them to excel in their graduate roles.

Marcello Gold, an undergraduate computing student from Teesside University London, described the event as: "a great opportunity for networking, exploration, and new experiences."

Josh, a student from Loughborough University London, said: "Being in London, events like this are a great way to harness the city's energy and build meaningful connections. I didn’t have these opportunities at my own university, so I make the most of them whenever they come around."

Hayley, Tutor Doctor Greenwich, added: "We've been exhibiting today to talk to students about our tutoring opportunities. We provide face-to-face tutoring in Southeast London, so we're looking for students that are passionate about a subject and want to share that passion."
