The Quality Framework describes the University's strategic approach to quality management, setting out its key features.
The Framework:
- sets out the principles and procedures within the quality system for the planning, quality assurance and enhancement of taught and research degree provision, including Partnership provision
- provides the additional information required to support the above procedures, including links to appropriate guidance, forms and templates.

Chapter A: Introduction to the Quality Framework
Details the purpose of the Framework and the University's approach to quality and standards.
Chapter B: Portfolio Development
Provides guidance in relation to Portfolio Development Planning. It includes processes and procedures for approval of new award titles, approval of University Certificate award titles, guidance for Collaborative Partners, change of award titles, suspension/closure of awards and Partnerships.
