Security control room
Here East safety initiative
Our security team are on campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we have extensive CCTV coverage across the campus. The team are always happy to help. Our receptions are open from Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm.
As part of the Ask for Angela initiative and the Safety of Women and Girls campaign, Here East offers a bespoke service if you need it when you're leaving the campus.
Personal car park escort
If you, a colleague or a student want an escort to the car park, contact the Here East security control room on 0203 861 6846 10 minutes before you leave. A security officer will escort you to the car park entrance.
Check calls service
If you're travelling off site you can request the check calls service. Phone the security control room on 0203 861 6846 and ask for the service. You give them your destination address, expected arrival time and contact details. Contact the control room to confirm you've arrived safely.
Safezone
We've joined up with Critical ARC to bring you SafeZone - a free app for staff and students that connects you to the University campus security team if you ever need first-aid or urgent help when you're on campus.
