What do you enjoy most about teaching at Teesside University London?
I love the diversity of our academic and student community, combined with a digital-first approach. How do students benefit from your experience?
NULLI focus on delivering real-world experience rather than just theoretical knowledge. My emphasis on relevant industry skills and professional etiquette ensures students stand out in their careers.
Tell us about your career to date
I bring over a decade of experience in the banking industry, having worked on global entrepreneurial projects. For the past seven years, I’ve been an academic, teaching business, economics, and finance modules. I’m also near the completion of my PhD.
What industry links do you have?
I maintain strong connections with academics, economists, entrepreneurs and banking professionals, bridging the gap between academia and industry.
How has your industry experience enhanced your teaching?
My professional background allows me to design interactive sessions that engage students and highlight industry best practices. This hands-on approach ensures learning is both practical and student centric.
What has been your career highlight so far?
Lecturing at world-class universities in the UK and inspiring students from diverse backgrounds, and leading entrepreneurial projects in IT and banking. I’ve also enjoyed collaborating on European commission-funded research projects as an economist.
