About this award
Students demonstrating outstanding academic performance may be eligible for a 20% Academic Excellence Award for postgraduate degrees (both on-campus and online).
Eligibility
You must:
- be a UK home-fee paying student studying on-campus, or a UK home fee-paying or international-fee paying student studying an online course
- have successfully achieved a first class honours degree from any UK university, excluding Teesside University
- provide supporting evidence of the qualification/result
- have graduated within the previous 10 academic years.

- Integrated masters
- MPhil
- PgCert
- PgDip
- PhD by completed work/writing up
- ProfGradCert
- PGCE ITT (with QTS)
- PGCEi (Online)

How to apply
The discount is automatically applied to your course fees if you meet the qualifying criteria. You may continue to benefit from this discount if you go on to study additional postgraduate degrees.
