What do you most enjoy about teaching?
I like the diverse and vibrant student and staff community and the state-of-the-art campus of Teesside University London. I emphasise the importance of the digital-first and future facing design of the university which offers top-demanded courses in one module-per-six-week block based flexible learning model. This model offers students and academics the opportunity to emphasise the in-depth exploration of one course unit per block. The model allows students to avoid significant commuting resources, carbon footprint, and balance their work, family and education life.
How do your students benefit from your experience?
I take pride in linking theoretical and research knowledge to industry best practices in teaching and learning using innovative and tailored teaching methods and techniques. Leveraging these capabilities, I teach students to design, develop, implement, evaluate and manage relevant, robust, user-friendly, secured and scalable technology solutions harnessing the modern explosion of data and artificial intelligence capabilities. I adore supporting students with empathy but with professionalism and integrity by drawing on the wide range of personal challenges I have navigated over the years.
