What do you most enjoy about teaching at Teesside University London?

The diverse student community and its strong focus on practical, industry-relevant learning in the heart of London. It means the classroom vibe is global and being London based, the work opportunities are on the doorstep.

How do your students benefit from your experience?

I have a strong academic background and research experience, which allows me to explain complex concepts clearly and connect theoretical knowledge with real-world problem-solving approaches.

Tell us about your career to date

I hold a PhD in Computer Vision and Deep/Machine Learning and have an academic background focused on advanced computing, artificial intelligence, and data-driven technologies.

How has your industry experience enhanced your teaching?

While my primary experience is academic, my research-driven approach ensures that teaching is aligned with current technologies, emerging trends, and practical applications in computing and cybersecurity.

That has been a highlight of your career so far?

Completing my PhD and contributing to research in computer vision and machine learning.
