The Buttery

Opened January 2023

Developed in partnership with students, we are investing £5m to transform the former Buttery building into a contemporary and innovative space exclusively for postgraduate students and researchers to study, collaborate and relax. A vibrant and inspiring new facility with an open, New York style apartment feel, it will offer individual and collaborative work spaces, a quiet zone and a computer lab, as well as a social lounge and refreshment facilities.
