The people who work at Teesside are exceptional. It's just a friendly place to live and work.
Great staff and colleagues, excellent department and work colleagues, great variety and challenge in work. Good work and pay benefits.
It’s a great work environment and I feel rewarded for the work I do. The University is a friendly place to work, with great flexibility and I've been given the opportunity to continuously develop myself.
The university offers an encouraging and supportive environment to pursue research projects and acquire external funding. Our exceptional business innovation managers provide comprehensive support in acquisition and running Knowledge Transfer Partnerships for which the University is among the top in the UK. Teesside has some of the lowest living costs in the UK. The beautiful countryside, picturesque coastline and relatively slow paced lifestyle are some of the advantages of Teesside compared to the other parts of the country.
Teesside has a can do attitude and almost everyone is willing to help. I appreciate the flexibility and variety of work.
I enjoy working for Teesside University because it's much more professional than other institutions I've worked at in the past. There are also lots of benefits such as flexi time and professional development. I've only worked in two departments here but both have been fantastic teams to work in, lovely colleagues and supportive managers. My role is very busy and demanding but also very rewarding and I’ve developed my skills and experience. I’m proud to work at Teesside, everyone is friendly and supportive and it’s an encouraging environment to work in.
