About us

Worldwide Teesside

We are an international community

Our students, graduates and staff are internationally connected in work and community.

Here at Teesside we want to ensure all our students, graduates and staff have the skills and ability to work and live in a global environment.

We prepare our students for work in a global workforce whether they:

  • work abroad as part of their career
  • work for an international company
  • have international clients
  • work in an ethnically diverse community.

Welcoming many cultures

The University is internationally connected. We recruit students and staff from many places and backgrounds. We deliver courses all over the world and our students study abroad on exchanges.

Learn with many cultures

As well as a community of over 1,800 students from overseas, there are a number of ways to learn with many cultures.

Languages

Our international students are offered English language courses before they start and support once they are here.
More about English language support

Our Teesside language café offers a relaxed, friendly setting for anyone seeking an informal way of practising their spoken French, German or Spanish.
