Teesside University has charitable status and is exempt from registering under the terms of the Charities Act 2011. This means that the University does not have a registered charity number. The Office for Students (OfS) is the main regulator of higher education in England and it requires that the information on this page is made readily available.

The University’s legal name is Teesside University. This is also the University’s preferred name. The correspondence address is Borough Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 3BX.
