We see you, looking at us... so why not come and talk to us in person? We have some open days coming up:

Why come to our open day?

You need to do your research when considering university. We love it here (obviously), but it's important you check the place out for yourself. Need convincing? Here's why we think you should visit us.

You can:

1Ask us if we'll give you £500 to kick-start your degree here (hint: for 2017 entry we will!)

2Talk about our courses with the people teaching them

3Hear about student life from our current students

4Take a tour around our award-winning campus

5Check out our town-centre accommodation

6See our top notch facilities - from jet engines to hydrotherapy pools - we've got them!

7Find out why our Students' Union is consistently in the top ten in the country

8Explore the local area - from tearooms to micropubs, vintage boutiques to designer stores - there's something for everyone

9See how we turn you into an employable, multiskilled, well-rounded human

On the day

Make sure to look out for your joining instructions which we will email to you two weeks before the event. On arrival, our friendly team of helpers will make sure you find your way. Free parking is available and details of this will be in our email.

What you do with your day is up to you. There are a variety of talks, from subject-specific talks, to student finance, accommodation and employability. You can also visit our stands at any time to speak to someone about our courses. Campus and accommodation tours run regularly - be sure to book on at our Tour Zone.

TeessideWhere's that?

Make a nightof it

If you're thinking about taking your time and making a night of your visit (and why wouldn't you?) then you can stay in these nearby hotels:

Plenty of others to choose from. All just a short walk from campus.

While you're here, you could even:

Unwind with tea and cake in the Olde Young Tea House

Explore the designer stores and vintage boutiques

Indulge in some authentic Italian sourdough pizza in Barbarossa

Wash it down with a glass of local real ale in The Twisted Lip

Work your way down the cocktail list at Macy Brown's

Catch a new release at Cineworld (and maybe have a cheeky Nando's)
