National Student Money Week, 27 February – 3 March 2023
We are pleased to announce details of National Student Money Week 2023. Taking place from 27 February to 3 March 2023, the theme of this year’s campaign will be ‘Navigate the Numbers: Coping with the Cost of Living’.
Whether you need help with going back to the basics of budgeting and the battle between needs and wants or want advice on being extra vigilant of scams and fraudsters who prey on people in these vulnerable times, we hope that there will be something for everyone.
There are some fantastic competitions running throughout NSMW, with a variety of prizes and you could even win a month’s rent!
Register for Blackbullion during NSMW, you could win a £50 OneForAll voucher
All students who register for Blackbullion during NSMW (27 February – 3 March) will be entered into a draw to win a £50 OneForAll voucher.
Blackbullion ‘spending snapshot’ competition – you could win your month’s rent
Blackbullion are running a competition 27 February – 10 March 2023, and 3 lucky winners will win a month’s rent. Entering the prize draw is very simple:
1. Sign up for free at Blackbullion
2. Log in and create your spending snapshot using the ‘Spending snapshot’ tool.
3. The prize draw opens at 9am on 27 February 2023 and closes at 3pm on 10 March 2023.
4. Winners will be notified via their student email in the week commencing 13 March 2023.
5. 3 students will win a month’s rent in cash, up to a maximum of £650 or equivalent, subject to the provision of a rental agreement.

NSMW interactive stalls – Student Life building
There will be interactive stalls running in SLB with even more opportunities to win prizes and get involved in discussions about money saving! 2 students could win a basket of food shopping, just by giving us their best money saving tips – all tips will get a prize with the best of the week as chosen by HSBC winning a bigger prize.
