The course is very practical - we are not only learning about digital marketing tools, but also applying them.
I came to Teesside University as it was local to me and in an area which I know well. I studied my undergraduate course at Teesside University Business School and I really enjoyed my time here. When I was applying my course leader was really supportive, taking the time to answer any questions I had.
I like how we have guest lectures from industry experts such as Mabo and Visualsoft. These lectures provide us with a practical insight into the industry and we often work on real-life challenges too. Overall, I am really happy with the quality of my course.
I received the Dr Keith Skeoch Postgraduate Scholarship, which is a fee waiver of £2,500. However it increased to £5,000, due to Dr Skeoch understanding the impact of the pandemic on students. This scholarship has been helpful, as I have been able to upgrade my course equipment. This has also taken some of the financial pressure off me. I am grateful to Dr Skeoch for providing this scholarship.
Yes, there has been a real effort at Teesside University to make sure each student is supported. I have confidence to ask my tutors questions and know that my tutors would be willing to respond. The course is very practical - we are not only learning about digital marketing tools, but also applying them. Our assessments are also very practical-based, as we often work with organisations and see the use of digital marketing tools being used in the organisation.
