Why Teesside?

A friend studied here previously and he recommended Teesside to me. I heard about the great opportunities the university gives its students so I decided to apply and see what the University has to offer. I also have a very strong passion for working in the oil and gas industry. I needed to change my discipline to a more competitive one like petroleum engineering and saw the course offered by Teesside was perfect for me.

Best thing about the course?

The lecturers focus on delivering the very best learning experience. They are all very helpful in explaining the content in a simple and easy to understand way. They are always available when I have any questions and provide any extra resources I might need.

Tell us about the facilities

The campus services are excellent. The library is well equipped with modern facilities and the Students’ Union is also really helpful and good place to relax when you’re not doing work.

Tell us about living in Teeesside

The University is in the town centre so the shops are all within walking distance and the cost of living is really affordable so it’s great for students, especially international students. There’s also activities across the region when you need time away from studying. I enjoyed visiting the local seaside towns and nature reserves.

Would you recommend Teesside University?

Yes, I definitely recommend Teesside University to people who are deciding where is best to study. The learning experience and the school facilitates are just amazing.
