The amount of one-to-one help that is available is amazing. If you ever need help from a lecturer, they are always there for you. You are given many opportunities to progress and improve your work through placements and workshops. Studying at Teesside gives you the inspiration to create the best work possible.

Tell us about MIMA School of Art & Design

Studying at MIMA School of Art & Design is great. You are given guidance and assistance with your studies, but you are also given the time and space to be truly creative with your work. The best part is that your creativity isn’t limited by those around you.

What skills have you gained?

My time management skills have improved a lot by studying at Teesside. My confidence has grown as well by doing presentations and showing off my work to others. You not only leave Teesside with a qualification, but you also leave with valuable life skills.

How are the facilities and support?

The studios and facilities are great. There is plenty of space for individual and group work. You are also really supported. You have regular feedback from lecturers and there are other services such as Student Futures which help with careers advice and guidance.

The group is extremely supportive and willing to help out whenever you need it. We talk about and support each other with current work, future aspirations, and generally give each other ideas to better our practice.
