Why Teesside?

During most of my professional career I have been in situations that require the application of leadership and strategic management in decision making or in achieving the desired end-goal.

This is why I chose to further my leadership and management skills and decided Teesside was perfect for me as the modules are well structured and fit my career aspirations.

What made you choose this course?

You gain the fundamental skills needed to engage and collaborate with international business partners. You also develop the knowledge and skills to become competitive in the job market, the modules dedicated to improving your employability are great.

Best part of the course?

Lectures are delivered in both theoretical and practical forms, which is valuable as it helps put what you have learned into practice. All the modules are interesting, but my favourite is Developing Self and Others, the content is fundamental to understanding international management and relationship building.

How are the facilities?

The learning facilities and services offered are among the best I have seen, for help and support, there’s always someone available to speak to whether it’s in The Library or Student Life.

How is Middlesbrough?

It's an interesting and multicultural environment where, in my experience, everyone is respectful and appreciative towards one another.

Ambitions for the future?

I want to become a business management consultant which includes supporting start-up companies through the development of strategic plans, managing business projects, and providing advice geared towards driving business value for organisations.

Would you recommend Teesside?

Yes, I think learning is being taken to a whole new level.
