Future Facing Learning and AI in Higher Education

The conference brings together scholars, practitioners, students, and innovators to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping higher education. From ethical design to transformative pedagogy, the conference offers a platform for critical dialogue, cutting-edge research, and collaborative innovation.

The conference will include digital thinking hands-on workshops to boost digital skills and knowledge, explore practical automation tools and discover best practices.

  • AI in pedagogy and assessment
  • Learning analytics and data use
  • Equity, ethics and inclusion
  • Student voice and experience
  • Institutional change and strategy
  • EdTech innovation and practice

Submission types

  • Full paper: 4,000 - 6,000 words
  • Short paper: 3,000 - 4,000 words
  • Poster: 300-word abstract
  • Demo: 300-word abstract
  • Workshop proposal: 500 - 700 words
  • Tutorial proposal: 500 - 700 words

Submission guidelines

  • All submissions must be original and not under review elsewhere.
  • Single-blind peer review for papers.
  • Accepted papers will appear in conference proceedings with DOIs.
  • Selected papers may be invited to a special issue.

Key dates

  • Call for papers opens: 15 July 2025
  • Submission deadline: 20 January 2026
  • Notification of acceptance: 20 February 2026
  • Camera-ready deadline: 15 March 2026
  • Conference dates: 15 - 17 April 2026
