Teesside is a really nice university and environment. I've met a lot of international students and made a lot of friends. Remember to always be yourself!
Get involved in a society, I met most of my friends there, ended up running the society, and I can say it was the most fantastic social experience ever!
I was a student ambassador which got me involved in a lot of things, including a residential in Durham helping children from local schools. The ambassador role definitely opened up opportunities.
Use the library facilities, especially the tutors in the library, they can help check through work before it is submitted, and they gave me some really good tips.
The disability support that I accessed in my third year was amazing. If you have any disabilities or queries the team will help you out.
