The implementation of the Prevent duty and challenges in compliance

Teesside University Business School in conjunction with Teesside University’s Resilient and Secure Societies Grand Challenge are delivering a half-day workshop consisting of a knowledge exchange focusing on the implementation of the Prevent duty and challenges in compliance between practitioners from Further and Higher Education.

The focus of this discussion will be on individual experiences and a key benefit of this workshop will be the opportunity to learn from other existing practices and experiences.

Who will benefit from this workshop?
- Safeguarding/Prevent officers in FE and HE
- Health and safety advisers and HR
- ICT Directors/Deputy Directors in FE and HE
- Anyone who has a role in implementing the Prevent duty in FE and HE

This free event offers an innovative and exciting opportunity to network over lunch and contribute to the development of a policy brief for the North-East FE& HE Prevent Working Groups and the Home Office.
