Join us at our contemporary issues in education lecture - pease pudding, parmos and pyjamas

We would like to invite you to the university for a specialist lecture delivered by members of our Education staff and the opportunity for some lunch and questions following this. The lecture will consider if working class culture can impact upon educational attainment, bringing together theoretical perspectives and research evidence from widely acknowledged national and international sources. This is aimed at highlighting questions that are posed to early years, primary and secondary school educators; and reflect some highly controversial issues that are considered and debated by our students across the modules in the Educational degree programmes

We can also provide UCAS talks and personal statement support.

This session is suitable for Year 13 students.
