Year in industry / placement year

Industry experience is a fantastic way to move forward with your career, develop your skills, knowledge and networks and boost your future prospects. Many graduate employers use placement schemes as a way to find their future employees. It's never too early to start thinking about a year in industry and the Student Opportunities Team are here to help. Come along to a drop-in session or Get in touch to register your interest and access support.

Advanced / applied practice internships

One of the options available for your advanced / applied practice module is pursuing an external internship with an employer. The Student Opportunities Team in Student Futures are here to support you when you are looking and applying for positions. You can find out more by signing up to attend a masters internship workshop or come along to a drop-in session.

Volunteering

Connect to the community with our volunteering opportunities. Volun-tees is our dedicated volunteering programme that encourages volunteers to develop their employability skills through volunteering and helps develop a wider range of opportunities with voluntary and community organisations. Global opportunities
