Introduction to Music Production

This module introduces you to the use of relevant technology for music production. You learn basic theories and practice in the use of appropriate software and hardware for the creation of music.

Due to the content and delivery of our Summer University courses, it is advised that applicants are aged 16+ at the time of enrolment. All applicants under the age of 18 at the time of enrolment must provide a completed parental consent form and those under 16 years of age are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. How you are assessed

You create an individual portfolio of work demonstrating relevant practice in the creation of a music production. This includes a finalised stereo audio file, DAW sessions and associated audio files, plus a written document (1000 words) showing basic study skills in the realisation of a music production.

International applicants must have an IELTS overall score of 5.5 or higher.
