What is Clearing?

If you're looking to start university this September, Clearing is the process that allows you to find your preferred course if places are still available

Anyone who applies after 30 June is automatically entered into Clearing, meaning there's still an opportunity to live your university best life. It can sometimes feel like a minefield, but we'll have you sorted in no time.

Clearing offers flexibility, opportunity, and a fresh start. It allows you to reassess your goals, explore courses you may not have originally considered, and begin your university journey this September without having to wait another year. With hundreds of courses available across a wide range of subjects, you can find something that aligns with your interests, career ambitions, and personal circumstances.
