I would really recommend going on the residential as you’ll learn about the variety of courses they have to offer and the different facilities available to enhance your learning. The social aspect of the residential is also amazing. Getting to meet new people, who are doing different things and chatting about their plans gives you something to think about. The staff are so lovely and accommodating, making sure they’re there for you while you are away from home. Overall, 10/10 experience and couldn’t recommend more.
I wanted to say thank you so much for the wonderful opportunity. My young person got to explore the University, hear from other students and professionals and gain an insight into University life. Everything seemed well run and I felt like my young person was safe at all times
This trip was honestly one of the best I have been on. We created a really good friendship group and enjoyed fun social activities at Tees Barrage such as kayaking and high ropes. I would really recommend coming to the residential. It’s such a good Uni and they have great facilities for cyber security, the new digital building is also really cool.
My daughter loved her time at the Teesside Uni residential. She had lots of fun, learnt a lot about student life and made many new friends. She’s also now a whizz at bowling and karting!
As a parent, it’s important to me that my son gets to experience living away from home in preparation for his future studies. This residential stay gave him a valuable opportunity to explore university life, get a feel for the campus, and reflect on his academic goals. He came back with a clearer mindset, more confidence, and a stronger sense of independence. We truly appreciate the warm welcome and support provided by Teesside University. Thank you for offering such a meaningful experience that has helped my son grow both personally and academically.
I couldn't praise the residential highly enough. It was well planned, well organised and just excellent. They absolutely loved it, it has really helped them grow in confidence and they made friends that they have already met up with, from all around the country. It has also confirmed that they want to study psychology at university. Thank you so much for offering this opportunity to them.
I found the whole experience really informative and fun - enjoyed the social events and academic sessions and felt like I really knew the campus by the end of it
I would recommend the science residential to anyone interested in carrying out further studies in this field. I truly enjoyed the residential, from being in the labs and doing hands-on practical’s, to experiencing uni life beyond the lectures. I also appreciated being able to chat to current students and ask them questions as they were super friendly and happy to answer anything
