Undergraduate study

Hill scholarship

The Hill scholarship was introduced in 2019. The donor, an accountant by profession and former lecturer at Teesside University, generously gives £6,000 over three years to support a Teesside graduate through the duration of their BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance course. There is one scholarship available for the 2020-21 academic year.

Hill scholarship eligibility

To apply for this scholarship:

  • you must be a new entrant on an undergraduate course paying a minimum of £9,250 a year
  • you must have been educated at a Tees Valley school or college for at least three years
  • the interview panel for final award selection takes into account your household income and previous academic performance.

How to apply

If you are eligible, you will be invited to apply in September 2020.

We give you priority if you:

  • meet the academic conditions of any offer from the University in full
  • applied in the main cycle
  • firmly accept your offer from the University and formally enrol on a Teesside University course at the start of semester.
