Open Day to offer a taste of life at Teesside University

12 August 2009 @TeessideUni

Potential new students aiming to start their higher education career this autumn can sample a taste of life at Teesside University at an Open Day.

Students due to start at Teesside in a few weeks time can confirm their place at the Open Day and also gain advice if they have not quite met their grades, as staff will be available from all subject areas.

The University’s Open Day will run from 10.00am to 3.00pm on Saturday 22 August providing visitors with an opportunity to tour the campus and meet and staff. Family and friends are also welcome.

Teesside is currently bucking the national trend by recording a 3% rise in overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey results published this month - with History scoring a remarkable 100% for student satisfaction.

Nationally student satisfaction rates fell marginally by 1% from 82% last year to 81% in this year’s national survey. But Teesside University’s figure went up from 81% to 84% for overall student satisfaction.

Further details about the Open Day are available on 01642 384266 or email or book online
