PAT testing - Appointment visits

Students who bring their own electrical equipment into the student residences have a responsibility to ensure this equipment is safe to use.

All electrical equipment must conform to current safety standards, and be maintained in such a condition so as to prevent danger to students and property. A PAT test is the best way to guarantee this, so please take advantage of this free service for all residential students!

If your equipment is under one year old, it does not need testing, unless there is any visual indication of damage.

This session is for students living in all University residences, and is for all items too large to be carried to the PAT testing appointments on previous dates. Please email i.peers@tees.ac.uk to book an appointment
