Sport & Exercise
Teesside is ideal for studying sport and exercise. We have strong links with regional and elite teams in the area. The North East has something for all sporting tastes: beautiful beaches at Saltburn for surfing and other water sports, the picturesque North York Moors for walking, running and cycling, and the world-class water sports facilities at the Tees Barrage.
You can benefit from Teesside University’s own fantastic facilities, which include a sports science building, equipped with hydrotherapy pool, anatomy and strength and conditioning laboratories, a specialist clinical sports therapy area, and a state-of-the-art teaching and research complex.
