Optometry Clinic

This new state-of-the-art, dual-purpose facility on our Middlesbrough campus will significantly increase optometry teaching space and allow more students to pursue careers in optometry, while providing high-quality eye care to the local community.

The clinic has three floors:

• Ground: reception and patient waiting area featuring a sensory zone, specialist clinics, pre-screening zones and a dispensing clinic
• First: clinical teaching hub for first and second-year students
• Second: a fully functional eye care clinic, where third-year students will work under professional supervision to deliver services to the public.
