Counselling ARCH Teesside provide free specialist trauma-informed one-to-one counselling to women, men and children (over the age of 14) who have experienced rape, sexual assault, sexual abuse and other types of sexual violence. Advocacy Service – Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) can help you look at what’s best for you and help support you through the next steps. ISVA’s are independent and confidential and can help talk you through the investigations and criminal justice process.

Our excellent contacts mean we can assist those who have emotional, mental health or addiction issues or are homeless or sleeping rough. We aim to make a difference on the streets of Middlesbrough.

Mentors are 21 years and above and are able to dedicate an hour each week listening to and encouraging young people in their school, empowering them to believe in themselves and their abilities.

Nepacs is a North East charity which aims to promote a positive future for people who have been affected by adverse situations in their lives. We work with families, young people and children, as well as those affected by the criminal justice or care systems. We are there for people during difficult times when they need some additional support, whether that be emotional support, helping with building resilience confidence and self-esteem or some practical information. We are known for our work within criminal justice, having worked in this field for 140 years but we also reach out and provide service in the community, to children and adults from all walks of life including those individuals with care experience.

We are a charity that supports young people and adults at risk of homelessness. Individuals call our emergency services so they can have somewhere safe to sleep for the night. We offer 21 in-nights and while using our service we support them with housing options.

Our Championing National Parks for Everyone project is led by the charity Peak District Mosaic who are working with the North York Moors National Park, Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Peak District National Park. Derbyshire Dales Council for Voluntary Service are also a project partner, working to help build capacity and infrastructure. The project is made possible through the National Lottery Heritage Fund and has a focus on ethnically and culturally diverse communities, so they have the confidence and skills to build a lifelong relationship with the National Park.

Our Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme is provided in partnership with Ambition Institute, England's largest professional development provider. We provide Initial Teacher Training in Wearside and Teesside, providing a unique school-based learning opportunity where you will train in a highly personal, supportive and creative environment, with purpose and challenge at the heart of it all.

Open Country has grown to run up to 26 different countryside activities weekly, catering to a range of abilities from a variety of different backgrounds. With hubs in Harrogate, Wakefield, and a new office in Tees Valley, we offer activities such as walking, tandem cycling, and nature conservation.
