Business Enterprise and Creativity

 

Course overview

Gain insight into the core aspects of business planning, considering innovative learning experiences that focus on business planning as a process and the creativity needed to develop a unique proposition and meet customers’ needs.

You are challenged to consider examples of enterprising organisations of varying sizes, and engage in interactive workshops and discussions.

This online course will be delivered through a combination of pre-recorded material and live interactive sessions. Tutor support will be available during the specified weekly times. Each session will include asynchronous pre-recorded lectures, a live interactive session with the tutor and asynchronous activities related to the session. It is expected that students will interact with brief presentations of some of those activities.

This course will be delivered online. Please check the entry requirements tab before making your application to ensure you meet the entry criteria and have all the minimum equipment necessary to take part.

You can study up to 30 credits at Summer University and you can select up to three modules on the same application form. If you would like to add a module later, or change one of your choices, then please email summer.university@tees.ac.uk.

Due to the content and delivery of this course, it is advised that applicants are aged 16 at the time of enrolment. All applicants under the age of 18 at the time of enrolment must provide a completed parental consent form. How you are assessed

The course will be assessed through a 1,500 word business plan including theory from the course and demonstrating creativity and entrepreneurship.

 
 

Entry requirements

Entry requirements

As this is an online course it is necessary that you have access to a computer and that you are comfortable learning via an online platform. A strong and stable internet connection is required, and a webcam and microphone will allow you to participate in any interactive elements of the course.

International applicants must have an IELTS overall score of 5.5 or higher.
