How you learn
This course is delivered 100% online and designed for flexible, independent study. All learning is asynchronous, so you can access materials at a time and pace that suits you.
Content is organised thematically and includes videos, interactive exercises and downloadable workbooks. You’ll also be signposted to open-access software and tools to support your learning. Discussion boards give you space to connect with peers, share ideas and reflect on your progress. Our online tutors are available to answer questions and provide guidance throughout the course.
How you are assessed
You’re assessed through two practical tasks that help you apply what you’ve learned. First, you create a 2,500-word research plan that outlines your approach to a topic of your choice. Then, you record a 10-minute presentation to share and explain your research idea.

You’ll need a minimum of a 2:2 honours degree in psychology or a social sciences subject.
