Malaysia Alumni Dinner 2015

Malaysia Alumni Dinner was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 6 November 2015. The event was organised to create an opportunity for Teesside University graduates living in Malaysia to meet friends, network with other former Teesside students and to celebrate the University's recent successes.

The dinner was also attended by Teesside University’s Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) Dr Aulay Mackenzie, International Development Officer Joelle Maurice and Regional Director, South East Asia, Richard Teng.

The Alumni dinner was also a great chance to hear our Malaysia honorary graduate, interior designer, Eric Leong give a talk on personal branding. Eric was voted one of the most valuable personal brands in Malaysia and Eric’s talk proved beneficial the alumni. Eric gave tips and advice on creating a successful personal brand in the crowded market place.

A few of our Alumni had created a showreel of videos from their time at Teesside University which filled the air with nostalgia. So much so that guests did not want to leave, enjoying the evening networking and catching up with times past. A successful evening all round with many appointments set for the next dinner in 2016!
