Welcome Week is all about making connections, finding your place in the University community and giving something back. This relaxed and rewarding activity offers the chance to meet new people, enjoy a creative break from the start-of-term bustle, and be part of something truly special. A simple letter can have a huge impact on a child facing difficult circumstances.

Using kindness, creativity and a few thoughtful words, you will help brighten a child's day and remind them that people are thinking of them.

Whether you are a confident writer, a doodler, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, this is an opportunity to spread joy.

The Volun-tees team will be on hand throughout the session to provide support, inspiration and guidance. We also encourage you to explore the Post Pals website for ideas and tips on what to write, how to make your letters fun and engaging, and most importantly, how to make a child smile through your words, drawings and creativity.
