Studying here is a great opportunity to improve my knowledge, learning and research skills. We have an active, supportive research environment, including space where all PhD students can work together and share feedback on each other’s research. My supervisors also give me constructive comments and advice on my research progress.

The Library is awesome – it’s open 24/7, so I can study at any time. The University also organises events which support your learning and research, including training on data collection, data analysis and academic writing, as well as social activities.

Studying a PhD is a long and tough journey, but an interesting learning experience, and I really enjoy my life at Teesside University. In the future, I’d love to gain more experience and become a professional in the financial field. Eventually, I would like to teach in the higher education sector.
