My course is highly relatable, practical, and equips students with a wide range of valuable skills for the future.
I’ve always had an interest in marketing, particularly since completing my BSc course in my home country of Ghana. With the rapid digital transformation shaping the way businesses operate, I was eager to explore how marketing is evolving in this landscape. Traditional marketing methods are increasingly being replaced by digital strategies, so I wanted to advance my studies in this rapidly changing field.
The course content is relatable and practical. I particularly enjoyed Digital Communications, as the tasks were engaging and I developed a deeper understanding. The Digital Innovation and Change Management module was also very insightful, showing how marketing tools can be used to optimise business operations and create value for customers and the business overall.
Modern, well-equipped, and student friendly. The services such as the Careers team, Students’ Union, and the Library are very supportive and provide helpful resources that make student life easier and more productive.
Welcoming and friendly. It’s a convenient location, with everything you need close by, and easy access to other cities and natural areas to explore.
I volunteer with Welcome Foundation, as a social media creative, where I create photo and video content, plan content schedules and support the execution and coverage of community events, such as a family fun day and bike rides. I’ve also signed up for 'Do Good' and look forward to starting that.
I’ve developed practical experience in building and managing websites, creating engaging social media content, applying SEO principles to improve online visibility, and communicating strategically with customers to build trust and drive engagement.
My long-term goal is to become a marketing consultant with broad, practical experience across digital platforms and to establish my own media company dedicated to supporting SMEs with their marketing, branding, and online presence.
