Teesside University has been training occupational therapists since 1994, and our apprenticeship route was developed in response to employer demand. This program follows a similar pathway to the BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy, ensuring apprentices gain the same high-quality education and practical experience.

A successful apprenticeship journey leads to eligibility to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a qualified occupational therapist, opening doors to a rewarding career in health and social care.
