Social enterprise in the Tees Valley

The Social Futures Institute has completed a major mapping exercise to identify the size and strength of the social enterprise sector in the Tees Valley.

Undertaken with Teesside Business School, it was funded by Business Link Tees Valley. A social enterprise strategy for Tees Valley Partnership has been adopted and a copy is available here.

The next phase of the work, funded by England's Higher Education Innovation Fund (HEIF), sees a team of researchers in the Institute and Teesside Business School developing new educational materials which will help the development of the social enterprise strategy.
